abyss

I leapt into an abyss
it swallowed me whole
and the dark was just too deep
to see
falling
took away my sense of direction
the hole was just part
and what I missed
was not what I thought but what
I felt
when
I hit the bottom and collapsed
there was only up
But I couldn’t see the sky
