I long to be just like one of them,
those few amazing people
who, when faced with the darkest night
can still see a far-away light
though impossibly
dim
I yearn to, like them, believe
that though my eyes be weak
I can somehow know there is a light
even in the darkest moment
and in that knowing
see
The oligarchs have the masses so focused on the gender, religion and race wars, that most are oblivious to the class war happening which will keep the middle and lower classes poorer and weaker forever as the rich take over our government. It’s time for a revolution which starts with knowing that the problem is not those who don’t look like us or love like us, or those that don’t have faith like ours or family like ours.
The problem is in the premise that those with the money should have the power. This revolution is not unique. It has been played out for millennia in countries all over the world. Our unique opportunity is that we can see it and stop it before the oligarch takeover is fully complete. We need to stop the division and the rhetoric that fuels it and recognize the lies that are so thick they have cloaked the true path and choked our true voices. Now is the time to walk that true path and regain our true voices.

Through evolution the world is full Of amazing and varied life forms Working together and against Each other to create the great Gaia In a microcosm human society evolves A maze of different forms of life Working together and against Each other to create the great experiment The lens of history will focus on life And gaze at both us and them Working together and against Each other to create the great divide Through elitism and racism we see Tempers ablaze with political forums Working together and against Each other to create unmanaged chaos May we join with the great Gaia Aside the craze of unbridled hope Working together, and against The other, to create a great unity And evolve until the world is full Of amazing and varied ideas Working together and against Each other to create the great Peace
The whole day is a similar length But sunlight is the shortest today A near full moon softens the night ‘til the sun can break through the fray Love, my friend, always has strength But at times the darkness holds sway A warm smile can bring needed light To a soul that is weak and afraid Though the day is much shorter than night As this solstice of winter makes way In the night we embrace in our hearts May we find the love that we crave
What comes next At the end of our Republic Calmer minds need to guide As this slow dissolution Plays out in front of us all What comes next When this Republic fails Eaten away by the differences Rusted by lies sold as truth Amplified by our connectedness What comes next After the final Republic breath Its heartbeat races too fast In fear of the other Soon to finally rupture What comes next Will not look like this Republic The world is waiting to see As are the children Whose only hope is peace
